I love anaylxing songs and seeing what it’s rooted in regardless of the simplicity. “I need A Dollar” by Aloe Blac is such a great song the production is reminiscent of the soul of the 60’s. The lyrics though are so powerful, that’ why Marvin Gaye and Gil Scott-Heron sre my fave singers you can hear that pain and strain and Aloe Blacc is excellent at that
